2025 SurfWorks Camp

By

SurfWorks Surf Camp

As part of our long-running SurfWorks Surf Camp (est. 2010), in June Surfrider Marin again partnered with the San Geronimo Community Center to bring kids from the San Geronimo Valley and Novato to Bolinas for some surf, stoke, and community connection.

Ten young campers spent four days riding waves with Bolinas Surf Lessons, enjoying morning and afternoon sessions. When they weren’t in the water, they refueled thanks to the generous support of our favorite Bolinas restaurants and stores, and explored other ways to connect with and protect our fragile coastline. We do this to inspire the next generation to love the ocean, learn why it’s important protect it, and why the ocean needs more friends!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Smiley's Saloon, Coast Cafe, and The Bolinas Market for feeding our campers with more than 50 sandwhiches. Nick from Bolinas Surf Lessons, Charlotte, Ruth, and Carly did an amazing job taking care of our kids and getting them on some waves and inspired to make friends with the ocean. We couldn’t do this without you all!
